Zscaler's Zero Trust Exchange is a important platform for thousands of enterprises given its role in ensuring secure access to both internet/SaaS and private applications. Due to the inline nature of our service, the criticality of Cloud Resilience/RAS (Reliability and Scalability) of our cloud platform cannot be overestimated.

We are looking for a hands-on PM to join the team responsible for Cloud Resilience/RAS of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). This is an extremely unique and visible role in which you will improve and cross-product high impact projects important for growing our cloud to 1T transactions and beyond.

This is a great opportunity for personalities who combine deep technical expertise in System/Cloud Engineering/Architecture, SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), CloudOps/DevOps or Software Engineering/QA with great soft skills and are looking to transition into product management.

  • Implement ZIA/ZPA RAS roadmap: define problem statements, collect requirements, build conviction and meticulously manage important programs across product, cloud lifecycle management
  • Customer Engagement: lead pre and post sales conversations on cloud resilience, roadmap and post-incident/RCA reviews; build relationships with main customers to build/strengthen their trust and solicit important feedback
  • Post-incident Reviews: stay on top of ongoing cloud incidents, escalations and RCAs (root cause analysis) and identify themes and manage the team on improvement plans
  • Field Engagement: educate, support and be the go-to expert for pre-sales, post-sales and technical support teams for all things related to RAS
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
  • 8+ years of industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • Domain/Technical Expertise: Network security and protocols: proxies, firewalls, load balancing, TLS, PKI, HTTP/S, DNS, TCP/IP
  • Important available cloud-native services at hyper-scalers or important SaaS providers
  • Cloud/System architecture/resilience: availability/scalability patterns (e.g. clustering), stability/instability patterns (e.g. cascading failures), observability/monitoring principles (e.g. AIOps)

  • Problem/requirement discovery: ability to translate customer problems/needs into product requirements and build conviction internally
  • Hands-on data analytics: ability to define hypotheses/problem statements, crunch data, draw conclusions, and communicate results
  • Customer engagement: experienced in presenting complex topics, handling tough conversations and building partnership
  • Soft-skills:: to changing work streams in Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Hands-on Zscaler experience (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX)

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$136,500$195,000 USD
